Pontefract Christian Bookshop can be found on Mauds Yard, in Pontefract town centre. It is provided by the church as a resource for the community to use. As our aim is to serve the community, we try to keep prices low; many of our books are for sale at discounted prices.

If you are unable to visit the shop during opening hours, we are able to deliver to church on Sundays.
The shop offers a good selection of resources: Bibles, Christian books (such as: Christian living, biographies and Children's), daily devotionals, music, cards and gifts. If you can't find what you're looking for, we are happy to order it for you.

We supply to churches, Sunday schools and associated organisations with discounts (typically at least 10%). We can also supply discounted Bibles to schools and have Christian resources that can be used in assemblies. We are able to run or assist with bookstalls at various events - please contact us for more information about these.
A photocopying service is also available to use. Prices are as follows:
- A4 single-sided: 8p
- A4 double-sided: 15p
- A3 single-sided: 20p
The bookshop accepts many forms of payment, including most credit/debit cards. National Book Tokens are both accepted and sold.
